Dance Honours: Bethany Kayser

Bethany’s involvement in the Studio has given her the opportunity to be part of the, Grahamstown based ‘First Physical Theatre Youth Company’, to perform at the National Arts Festivals and to perform at every opportunity the school has to offer. She has danced solos at the Eastern Cape Eistedfodd, receiving Double Gold and main parts in the school productions, Magpie Love(d) and Footloose. Through this she has also developed her choreographic and leadership skills.  She has been an exceptional Dance Captain, organising fund-raisers and getting the whole school involved in Studio activities through dance marathons and movie evenings.

She works tirelessly on improving her technique and her expressive performance. She is focussed on her dream of pursuing dance professionally and this has led her to participate in classes with exceptional teachers  in Cape Town, New York and London. She is completely dedicated to the art of Dance and Performance and this she shares with the other members of the Studio in her role as Captain and often as teacher.

Bethany is most deserving of the highest praise the school has to offer.
