It’s today, it’s today! And they’re off! After much anticipation, perhaps a little trepidation and a fair share of excitement, DSG and St Andrew’s College Grade 10 groups departed on their 2019 expedition of The Fish River Journey. They begin their adventure in the mountains north of Graaff-Reinet, the source of the Great Fish River, and which roughly follows the course of the river all the way to the mouth, north of Port Alfred. Activities include hiking, cycling, running, canoeing, community service, a solo day, a rest & create day and an activities day. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to make new friendships, bond as a group and learn all about the meaning of challenge, endurance, kindness and team effort. We wish them all the very best!
