The junior school Design & Technology programme at St Andrew’s and the DSG is primarily aimed at teaching basic technological awareness through fun activities. The boys and girls are introduced to a wide range of skills to encourage the development of problem-solving attitudes. In a relaxed atmosphere of fun and enterprise, the children are given every chance to explore, unfold and discover the ever changing technological world that we live in. Activities may range from teamwork projects to individual work using materials such as wood, cardboard, paper and recycled materials. The opportunity for the boys and girls to work in our state of the art Design Centre is unique and provides them with excellent foundation teaching.
