ART AND NEEDLEWORK
The teaching of Art forms an essential part of the curriculum at the DSG Junior School. It is in these lessons that the creativity that is within each child is discovered and nurtured. The girls are taught in a positive environment by teachers who maintain the delicate balance between giving full encouragement to imagination and wonder, while teaching both the pupil and the subject. When this is done, a child never loses her creative stimulus, thus facilitating the development of confidence and original thinking.
