GRADE 7
The Grade 7s enjoyed a most memorable, albeit busy, trip to Cape Town. They were able to go on many adventures, ranging from exciting sea-faring charters – visits to Seal Island and Robin Island, watching the sun set from the top of Table Mountain, to the more sedate activities of museums and indoor tours around the Houses of Parliament and The Castle of Good Hope. They found the physical pursuits of ice skating and tobogganing in the evenings exhilarating. This is without doubt the highlight of the year as many new friendships blossomed during the course of the tour, and the girls learnt the skill of moving out of their friendship comfort zones, socialising with members of the Grade they wouldn’t usually mix with.
