Careers in focus

The Diocesan School for Girls, and in particular Anne Preston from the Life Orientation office, organised an interactive Careers Open Day on 28 February for pupils from across Grahamstown at the DSG campus.

The event was a first in its kind as it involved a wide spectrum of schools and career fields. Pupils in Grade 12 were given the opportunity to listen to individuals from different career brackets about the pros and cons of their line of work, as well as advice on how to follow that route. The different career fields extended from architecture to medicine, to drama and more.
