HONOURS CITATION: OUTREACH
Cingashe Tabata has fulfilled all the criteria for the Honours Award for Outreach.
She has completed in excess of 70 hours of service (probably more like 170!) and has lead the Interact Club with great passion, a lot of organization and plenty of energy. She is inspirational to many of the girls in the club and not only organizes projects, but participates as hard as anyone. This year Cingashe has ensured that the Saturday School programme has run smoothly and has implemented new ideas such as the dance classes, art class and swimming lessons. She has successfully run a committee with Modisa Motsomi to put on Gtown Spunk 08 which was a resounding success. She has also organized several other smaller projects throughout this year, including the dance marathon, the movie evening and beach bonding.
Cingashe has been a committed and dedicated member of the Interact Club and thoroughly deserves this award.
