Last year the grade 5's produced a Travelling Book. Let me explain ... Each girl was given a book and was asked to do a 2 page "auto-biography" - they could include a bit about themselves, their family, their hobbies and sports, where they live and go to school, photos, etc. On the front page, a letter was attached asking the recipients of the book to do the same and to pass it on when they were done. Whoever received the book after the 30th June 2010 was asked to mail it back to the school. Only a couple have returned, but their journeys have been phenominal - Sweden, USA, Denmark, Kenya, England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Japan. We are hoping the rest of the books will eventually make their way home - crossing our fingers.
