Dear Parents
Other than some internal hockey and netball matches being played last weekend, it was rather quite. This week has followed along the same lines although there is a hype of excitement going around the school and sports fields.
Over the past weekend, Robyn Charter, Nicky Smith and Erin Graham took part in a Senior Nationals Swimming Gala in Pietermaritzburg. It was a successful gala and the girls came up against tough competitors, including some Olympians and girls on swimming scholarships in the US. Robyn Charter made the Semis in the 50 back and came 15th in the nation in a new school record of 31.46 sec. Her free and fly times were close to her best. Erin Graham swam personal best times in all her events. Nicky Smith also came very close to her best times. Well done girls!

Below, are also the K-Day weekend fixtures. In short, netball is being played on Friday and hockey on Saturday. Junior school netball is being played at Kingswood Junior school and Senior school netball is being played on the Kirkby courts (between Kirkby and Jaques houses). Hockey is either on the astro or on the grass fields below the astro.
