Marguerite Poland talks to the Grade 8s

Using the St Andrews Chapel as her setting Marguerite Poland told the story of Old Andrean’s who fought in World War One. She showed photographs of the 1st 15 and heard how many of them were dead within 3 years of the war starting. She described the chapel windows that honour the memory of those boys who died in the war. All the Grades 8s were present and listened attentively.
