The Cacadu section of the Eastern Cape Indoor Rowing Championships were held at St Andrew’s College, in the Centenary Hall on Saturday.
Junior U14 and U15 Events of 1000 meters were rowed on Concept 2 Ergometers, with the U16, and U18 Opens competing over a 2000 meter distance.
Of all the registered times submitted from around the Eastern Cape, Jenienne Curr, below, posted the fastest time of the day - 7 minutes 23 seconds for her 2000 meter trial, which won her the Girls U18 title and setting a new U18 Eastern Cape Record in the process. This is also the fastest U18 time in South Africa to date this year.
Kayleigh Scheepers posted the 2nd fastest time in the U18 Section.
Georgie Edwards posted the 3rd fastest time in the U16 Section.
Erryn Green won the U15 section and Tyler-Jo Moodie won the U14 section.
