PIPE BAND
The St Andrew’s College Pipe Band participated in the Highlands Gathering in Port Elizabeth on Sunday 20 March 2011.
St Andrew’s won the floating trophy for the best drum corps. Gemma Scholtz, a DSG Grade 10 pupil is part of the drum corps.
Results:
Duncan Ralston, Richard Tyson and Justin Kingwill achieved various awards in the solo events, with Duncan achieving six first place prizes. St Andrew’s College were placed: second in the March, third in the MSR and third overall.
