Outdoor Ed

R esearch has shown that having outdoor education as an integral part of the curriculum improves academic achievement, attitude and concentration levels, reduces stress and of course, develops a love for the natural world and our increasingly important environment.

At DSG Junior, girls from each grade undertake exciting adventures through age-appropriate three-day outdoor residential trips, during which time they embrace a variety of challenges and new experiences. In addition to environmental education, our outdoor education programme offers the girls inspiring and stimulating hands-on experiences, as they develop collaborative problem-solving skills and deal with physical and mental challenges. Their outdoor education is often one of the highlights of the year.
